A tool that scores other people's terms had better keep its own short and readable. These are the rules for using Don't Be A Fool. Nothing here is buried, and there is no clause designed to catch you out.
The extension and this website are operated by Doctoria Medical Solutions Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under number 17011492, registered office Silverstream House, 45 Fitzroy Street, London, England, W1T 6EB ("we", "us"). Contact: jadtounsi5@gmail.com. Installing or using the extension means you accept these terms.
The extension finds the terms of service and privacy policy linked from a signup page, sends them to a language model, and returns a plain-language summary with a 0–100 score.
This is not legal advice. It is a fast reading of legal text by a language model, and it can be wrong, incomplete, or miss a clause entirely. Every risk it reports is shown with the quote it came from precisely so you can check it yourself. Do not rely on it for any decision that matters legally or financially. If you need legal advice, speak to a lawyer.
We do not promise the score is correct, that all relevant documents were found, or that a site rated "SAFE" is safe. Documents behind a login cannot be read, and long agreements are truncated — the verdict says so when that happens.
| Plan | Price | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | Three full reads, then the paywall |
| Monthly | $2.99 / month | Recurring until you cancel |
| Lifetime | $29 once | A single payment — see clause 4 |
Payment is handled by Stripe. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax that applies where you live. The monthly plan renews automatically until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time; cancellation stops the next charge and access continues to the end of the period you paid for.
We may change prices for future purchases and renewals. A price change never applies retroactively to a lifetime purchase already made.
It means the lifetime of the service, not of any person, and it is tied to the install it was bought for. Concretely:
Paid plans are described as unlimited and are meant to be used as a person uses them. To stop automated abuse running up model costs, paid plans carry a fair-use ceiling of 100 checks per month. Nobody reading terms by hand will reach it. If you do reach it and have a legitimate reason, email us and we will lift it.
You agree not to:
If it does not work for you, email us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you in full, no argument and no interrogation. This is in addition to any statutory right of withdrawal you have as a consumer, which we do not attempt to limit.
A refunded lifetime purchase ends lifetime access.
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of clause 5, for fraudulent payment, or where required by law. If we terminate a paid plan for any reason other than your breach, we refund the unused portion — and for a lifetime plan bought within the previous 12 months, the full amount.
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, nor for any decision you take on the basis of a verdict — including signing up to, or declining to sign up to, any service.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
The extension, this website, and the wording of the verdicts belong to us. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use the extension. Verdicts are yours to screenshot, quote and share — that is the point of them. The legal documents being read belong to whoever wrote them.
The service depends on Google's Gemini API, Vercel, Upstash and Stripe. Their outages are not within our control. Their handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new date, and for changes that reduce what you get, at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept them. If you do not, stop using it and ask for a proportionate refund.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes go to its courts. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live.
There is no forced arbitration clause and no class-action waiver here. It seemed hypocritical, given what this extension flags in other people's terms.
